Sarah Ernst is the founder of Ernst Law LLC, where she focuses on criminal defense and appellate advocacy across Missouri. She is widely recognized as one of the state’s most trusted appellate attorneys, having successfully argued cases in every Missouri appellate district.

Sarah began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, where she handled complex criminal appeals, trained fellow attorneys on extradition law, and completed intensive trial and deposition training. She has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 2020 and was elected to the Young Lawyers Section Council for District 6 in 2021.

Her leadership and professional accomplishments have earned her recognition as the “Face of Criminal Appeals” in Jefferson City Magazine’s Faces of 573 series. She is also an active member of the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce.

Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law and is licensed to practice in Missouri. She resides in Jefferson City with her husband, Dallas, and their two sons.
